| Well, I haven't written on here in quite some time so I thought I would give it a go :) Life has been interesting this semester. I am doing the musical (Urinetown), I am one of the poor people and it is wonderful. I am also doing the Cabaret this semester and the music we are doing rocks. I am choreographing for the dance show this semester, so that's fun. I am doing the song Parade On by Charlotte Martin, it's a greeeat song. I failed my first test EVER! It was in Chemistry - which BTW I made an A in honors Chem in High School so I'm not dumb! I just don't do well with this teacher... he's kind of AWFUL. No lies. I reeeeally love living off campus, my apartment is soooo nice and I love my roommate! So if you guys ever feel like trekking down to Tampa for any reason this school year I have a pretty pimp crib you could crash in. I turned 21 at the end of last month, so I am officially allowed to be an alchy, but I barely drank any on my b-day so no worries. It was one of those situations where I couldn't drink because I had a 4 hour dance rehearsal the next day - once again the arts saved the day :) I've been pondering where I am going with my life A LOT this semester, to the point that it's making me a little crazy. Earlier this semester, within the span of like 2 weeks, I got sick which caused me to be REALLY homesick, had my "girl time" for like TEN DAYS and kinda had my heart stepped on a little, and some other things that I won't go into detail about. That was a rough two... okay like 4 weeks. BUT I feel like I am coming out of that lovely little dark place and am a better person for all of it. I really love the newbies this year (the freshmen Performing Arts Majors aka PARS) They are all quite wonderful. ummm what else... hmm I suppose that's all! Anyway this semester is flying by! I will be home for like 5 days over Thanksgiving, so if we don't get to see each other, never fear I will be home for like 5 weeks or something over christmas break!! yay!!! I can't wait! We must bring back the love shack for some good old school partying! I hope everyone will be back in for a while at least! Well, I love and miss all of you guys! | I was SO careful until today... I decided to lay out FOR JUST 30 MINUTES... without sunscreen... haha. Needless to say I am like a lobster. It's not TOO bad so hopefully it will be good in a day or two.
So I went to L.A. yesterday and got to walk down Hollywood and see the stars and Chinese Theater and what-not, then went to Santa Monica and just drove down Rodeo Dr. and then went and shopped on 3rd street which was really fun!

| So California is pretty amazing. I think the weather is what gets me the most. There is a constant cool breeze that comes in from the west (the ocean) yet it is always beautifully sunny and is just amazing. Sitting outside in the afternoons and just breathing it in is my favorite :) I am actually getting some color believe it or not - I think it's because I don't mind being outside a lot cause of the amazing weather, whereas in Tampa it's so freaking HOT all the time that INside seems like the best option.
I found this amazing web site (for people that are health nuts basically): www.mypyramid.gov It's pretty cool, give it a shot :)
Oh man, and you kiddos have to stop talking about Falls creek and mission trips and stuff cause you're making me miss those things REAL bad! But I am sooo glad that all of you are going and having such wonderful times! Anyway, I suppose that's all for now :) Comment to keep me company! Love you all tons! | | |
